Oficina de Música 40 Years Rebranding
Prefeitura Municipal de Curitiba
Music is born in black and white, pure and simple, still untouched by the colors that only human interpretation can bring. As we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Oficina de Música de Curitiba, we let ourselves be guided by this essential simplicity, returning to the moment of creation, where notes and pauses first meet on paper or on the keys of a piano, only in black and white.
The new brand of the Oficina was conceived with this purity in mind. Inspired by the keys of a piano, which have crossed centuries of musical history, the symbol emerges from an intimate dialogue between tradition and innovation. The illustrations capture the rhythm—not as something fleeting, but as a constant presence that pulses in the space, even when everything seems silent.
There is something magical in music that escapes algorithms. It is this mystery, this rhythm beyond the predictable, that we sought to remind with the new visual identity. Music, often born of chance, reveals unexpected beauty, a life that extends beyond screens and headphones.
Technology, always an ally in the creative process, allowed us to transform classical scores into visual movements, bringing to life the soul of compositions and composers. But in the end, it is rhythm that sets the tone, reminding us why music touches us so deeply.
And so, without shouts or bright colors, the new brand of the Oficina presents itself. It subtly invites you to an auditorium where rhythm is the protagonist, where each note echoes with the simplicity and depth of a timeless melody. After all, the music that moves us is the one that resonates beyond the predictable—the one that, even in black and white, paints our lives with the most vibrant colors.
